Keeper of the Lost Cities is about a young 12-year-old girl, Sophie Foster, who has grown up in a world she isn’t supposed to be in. And she has always been an outcast. She lives in San Diego, CA, but she shouldn’t be there. At age 5, she had a major injury, and when she woke up in the hospital with the ability to read minds. But her parents are acting weird, saying she can’t attend Yale, and that she has to attend the local college. Then word gets out, and too many people know who she is including Her mysterious neighbor. Then 15-year-old Fitz Vacker shows up, claiming he can also read minds, and that she needs to come with him. Sophie is introduced into the magical Elvin world that seems flawless, but dark forces are slowly rising, and it’s up to Sophie to stop them.
