No more long summer days and bright mornings! No more early nights by the campfire making s’mores! Daylight savings time is coming to an end. CMS Colt, tells you what you what you need to know.
Daylight savings time started in the early days of spring on March 10th it lasts a while and it is soon to end on November 3rd. This is a time to set your clocks one hour forward as we lost an hour in March.
I asked Brayden Levy, a 6th grader on the Dolphin team and a Staff Writer for the Colt to share his thoughts about daylight savings time. Here is what he had to say:
“I think that having daylight savings time provides an extra hour to sleep, which after staying up late because of homework helps me get that dream sleep I need to work my best in school.”
Dark mornings and dark nights are soon to take place in America. Take a look outside your window when you wake up! You will see what I’m saying.
