Famous and accomplished race car driver, Lewis Hamilton, has announced he will be joining the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team for the 2025 season. This is a significant switch for the widely regarded, most successful driver in history. His decision to switch was mainly prompted by his former team (Mercedes AMG Petronas) having been unable to provide him a competitive car since the 2021 season, when he narrowly suffered defeat to rival Max Verstappen in the drivers championship. Hamilton has publicly said he expects more at Ferrari and has been clear about his goal of being a championship contender.
